Jessica: Zero Carbon Housing may be well underway, but I am looking to construct my own Home Grown House, completely built using the materials on my family farm, using the tools we have and myself as man power. No machinery, no power, no imports and NO carbon footprint (directly anyway) I will be constructing in straw bale from our own fields, and will be making my own clay render from our own soil. Traditional methods are using the best, and I will be innovating them to adapt to modern day construction, at a scale possible for this project. The journey begins....
